What is WARPANEL?
WARPANEL is an admin panel and server dashboard for WARDOGS community servers: web RCON, moderation, scheduled messages, a Discord bot, map rotation and server analytics in one place.
Is WARPANEL free?
Yes. Everything you can use in WARPANEL today will stay more or less free for good. To cover growing server costs, we plan to add extra features behind a small paywall in the future.
Which WARDOGS servers does it work with?
Community servers whose owner has RCON access. Official servers are run by the developers and can't be managed by players.
Do I need to install anything?
No. WARPANEL runs in your browser. The only change on the server is two lines in ServerSettings.ini if you want the kill feed.
Can my admins use it too?
Yes. Invite them from Team and give each one a role — for example messages and kicks, but no bans. They sign in with their own Steam account.
Is WARPANEL made by BULKHEAD?
No. WARPANEL is made by the team behind WARDOGS Tracker and is not affiliated with BULKHEAD.
Is my RCON password safe?
It's stored encrypted, used only to talk to your server and never shown to your team.
Does WARDOGS have RCON?
Yes. WARDOGS dedicated servers have a remote admin (RCON) connection. WARPANEL uses it to show the live server and to send admin actions.
Does it work with my server host?
If RCON is turned on and its port can be reached from the internet, yes — whichever host you use.
Can moderators ban without the RCON password?
Yes. The owner gives each team member a role. Moderators act through WARPANEL with their own Steam sign-in and never see the password.
Does WARPANEL ban cheaters automatically?
No. It flags unusual stats so your team can check them; bans are always made by a person.
Do messages need someone online in WARPANEL?
No. They're sent from our side over your server's RCON, day and night.
Do I need to host the bot myself?
No. Add the bot to your Discord from WARPANEL and pick the channels — it runs on our side.
How often does the status update?
About once a minute while the server is online.
Where do the numbers come from?
From your server's RCON (who's online, matches) and its kill feed (every kill), stored for your server only.
Do I still need to edit ServerSettings.ini?
Not for the rotation. WARPANEL reads and writes it over the server's config API. Other settings can be edited from WARPANEL too.
What do Kavkazi, Europe and NorthAmerica mean?
They are the game's internal names for Bakurani, Ozeti and Zestafona.
Does the kill feed slow down my server?
No noticeable effect: the game sends small batches of kill events in the background.
Do official servers have a kill feed?
Official servers don't send kills to anyone. The kill feed is for community servers whose owner turns it on.
How do I find a player's Steam ID?
It's the 17-digit number starting with 7656119 in their Steam profile address, or in WARPANEL's live player list and player pages.
Do reserved slots count towards the player limit?
Yes. MaxPlayers includes the reserved slots; MaxReservedSlots says how many of them are held back for the list.
Why doesn't a new reserved slot work straight away?
Live WARDOGS servers read the reserved list from ServerSettings.ini when they start, so a change takes effect after the next restart.
How many players does a WARDOGS match need to start?
20 by default. The pre-match minimum is the MinimumRequiredPlayers setting; the loaded game mode can set a higher floor.
Will it spam my Discord?
No. An automatic call starts at most once every few hours (you choose how often), and the message is edited instead of reposted while seeding.
What happens when seeding works?
When the server reaches the seeded-at count the call turns into a thank-you line (or is deleted, if you prefer).
Can I ban grenades or launchers too?
Yes. The list has weapons and equipment from the WARDOGS item database, and any kill-feed name can be added by hand.
Should I ban straight away?
Start with a message or a warning and let “if they do it again” kick or ban. New players often don't know the server's rules.
Does it post a new message every time?
No. Each board is one message the bot keeps editing. If someone deletes it, the next update posts a new one.
Do I need RCON for leaderboards?
Kill-based boards need only the kill feed. Playtime and seeding boards need RCON too.
Does the vote change anything else about the server?
No. Only the next map and its time of day/weather change. Rotation, mode and settings stay as they are.
Can supporters cancel?
Yes, any time from warpanel.gg/supporting. Perks stay until the paid month ends.
What happens if I refund a one-time payment?
A full refund in Stripe takes its perks back automatically.
